Rev. James William Webb, PhD. - Pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, located in the Historic Section of Berkley in Norfolk, VA was appointed to NCP Community Development Federal Credit Union (NCP) board of directors in May 2009.
Rev. Webb also known as “Pastor Jim” holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Government and Urban Studies from Windsor University, Los Angeles, California, a Master of Philosophy Degree from New College at Edinburg University, Scotland, a Doctor of Philosophy Degree and a Doctor of Sacred Theology from Christ Seminary-Seminex, St. Louis, Missouri.
Prior to assuming the pastorate of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Webb previously pastored churches in Atlanta, Georgia, Cape Town, South Africa and Lusaka, Zambia. He has had the distinction of serving two Nobel Peace Prize winners, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mr. Nelson Mandela.
Some of his previous board memberships include The Council of Churches in Zambia, World Council of Churches and ACAC Federal Credit Union. Rev. Webb is a former member of the United States Marine Corps and presently a member of the Prince Hall Masons and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
